What is the most efficient software programming language? - software programming language

What is the best programming language that allows you the implementation occurs, small force, will not run much power your PC and on all platforms and systems (win32)?

Assembly Language is the most effective - but only if the programmer to use it properly. A written language effectively stuck in layers / compiler can be more effective than a poorly designed program to make better use of a language.

I know: Basic, Pascal, C (++), assembly, and pieces of other things.

Note that the efficiency is not specific to the programming language.
If there is a simple application that can be done under DOS. If more complex that can be done under DOS, but not the most effective. Similarly, if a report is displayed, what can it be done in a simple Web page and read / print required on almost all web browsers.

I can write a set of C + +, and also create an application that generates C / C + +, efficiently and effectively. And sometimes I have several thousand lines of code without errors.

Currently I am working in a company that essentially means that whenever there is a bug in the code that the error that I only follow increases the "requirements".

How many languages do I know? About 20 or so, I lost count, and keep me comfortable. I used the language is necessary / always fit / the better, as I can I ease.
