Typically, after a possible exposure to HIV, their body produces antibodies within 6 months.
So, if after 6 months of exposure to negative test yet of what to say with certainty that their "OK".

NO.
seems not so fast because he did not have enough time to really affect your body
But it is possible someone if they are infected.
If the test is negative, you still have to return in a few months, to be sure.

The HIV test is the HIV antibody test, and those who take time to develop. When were you think you have exposed (as unprotected sex with someone you know who is HIV-positive have been raped or stuck with an infected needle), you should talk to your doctor about taking anti-HIV -- can curb the risks. (Will take AZT for people if they thought they might be exposed.)

So you do not start testing until 3 months after exposure (and remember to have safe sex during this time, because they can get). In general, if you tested negative after 6 months, there is a very slim chance of having infected. It could continue to recognize that one years later, just to be safe.
